Mandy Yau graduated from the Hong Kong Baptist University with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Music, majoring in musicology and voice. During her study, she studied singing under the tutelage of Mr. Jimmy Chan and percussion with Ms. Rebecca Ng. Aside from obtaining the ATCL diploma in Singing Performance, her academic achievements includes being the recipient of the Hong Kong Children’s Choir Scholarship. 

 

As an enthusiastic singer, Mandy has performed as a chorister in various concerts and theatre productions with a number of acclaimed music groups, including The King’s Singers, Singfest HK, Cantoria Hong Kong, Internationale Bachakademie Stuttgart and Hong Kong Sinfonietta. Apart from being an avid chorister, she had participated in masterclasses given by Frans Huijts and Paul Phoenix as a soloist. 

 

Mandy now works as a private singing tutor and choir conductor in several local schools, along with STFA Lee Shau Kee College, St. Johannes College (Primary Section), St. Lorraine kindergarten and York Montessori International Pre-School (Mei Foo).
