Gabrielle Leung recently graduated at the Royal Northern College of Music with First-Class Honours majoring in Vocal Studies and Opera, under the tutelage of Deborah Rees and Andrew Heggie. During her studies, she was awarded highly commended singer at the prestigious Alexander Young Prize. In Hong Kong, she was under the tutelage of Mrs. Christina Chiang and Ms. Chan Siu Kwan.

She perfromed in internationally renowned artists, Fleur Barron and Julius Drake’s, masterclasses. She sang as Lucilla in Il Burbero di buon cuore, Gasparina in La Canterina, one of the brides in Rimsky-Korsakoff’s ‘The Snowmaiden’ and performedthe Bernstein’s Mass at the Bridgewater Hall. As a dedicated advocate of art songs, Gabrielle is an active performer with collaborative pianist, Pam Kijoran, performing as Pas de Duo across the UK, presenting curated programs featuring Debussy’s Quatre Chansons de Jeunesse, Manuel De Falla’s Siete Canciones Populares Españolas, and Pejačević’s Sieben Lieder, among others. As a champion of music by female composers, she was a collaborative artist with Empower: Women Changing Music in the UK. She performed the soloist premier of Dr. Kai-young Chan’s ‘Hard it is to Meet and Part’ in the UK and was the featured guest soloist in Echoes in Parting.

She is a member and soloist of Die Jungen Konzertisten, the St. John’s Cathedral Choir, and actively performed with the RNCM chamber choir. Gabrielle has been awarded highly commended in both the Junior Vocal Recital and Girls Vocal Solo competitions at Feis Ceoil 2022, Ireland. She worked as the music director of the HKSKH Church of the Ascension Children’s Choir, and coached at the HKSKH Holy Cross Primary School and Bolton Music Service, UK, conducting choirs and coaching young singers.
