Rosanne Lee

Soprano Rosanne Lee earned her Doctor of Musical Arts in Voice Performance from the University of Michigan in 2025, studying under Dr. Louise Toppin and Freda Herseth. She holds a Master of Music from the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University (2022), where she worked with Elizabeth Futral, and a Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours from the University of Hong Kong (2019).
In 2024-2025, Rosanne presented three solo recitals in the United States. She performed the title role in Evangeline (1874) with the Comic Opera Guild in 2024 and delivered the U.S. premiere of Aran O’Grady’s chamber opera Eintänzer in 2022. Her operatic credits include roles in Hansel and Gretel, Suor Angelica, and When Mozart Meets Da Ponte, a production by the local group Bel Canto Singers. She has also appeared in online adaptations of new musicals, including Esther and as the Match-girl in The Happy Prince.
She was awarded the Artistic Excellence Award, Hong Kong Scholarship for Excellence Scheme, Bernard van Zuiden Prize, Rayson Huang Scholarship in Music, Professor Robert Lord Memorial Prizes in Music, Talent Development Scholarship, and Helen Moore-Williams Music Prize.
